About the Role:
The SHFC Program is responsible for the provision of the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) capability to the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) Capability Manager (CM). Capability is provided through Sustainment under CJC010, and enhancement under the JP9101 Project.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the JP9101 Engineering Activities in support of EDHFCS acquisition.
Provide assurance that EDHFCS Capability Functional Requirements are met through the acquisition process.
Develop, manage, and maintain the JP9101 Engineering Documentation suite.
Provision formal Engineering advice regarding project engineering activities, across all relevant contracts.
Exercise appropriate Engineering Delegation as issued by the Chief Engineer IC3SPO; update and maintain technical risks for JP9101.
Assist the JP9101 Engineering Team in any Engineering activities and facilitate the ongoing professional development of team members.
Collaborate with the wider JP9101 Project Team to provide Engineering input across all discipline streams.

Essential Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in Communications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other equivalent experience.

About the Role:
The SSN-AUKUS Program Requirements Directorate requires a resource to provide specialised engineering services to develop Nuclear-Powered Submarine requirements.

The LNIC Validate Frame provides the systems, processes and workforce that enable LNIC to conduct systems of systems integration test & evaluation activities. The Validate Frame is responsible for the provision of the LCS Support Environment that houses the LCS Battle Labs (and their digital representations). The position is primarily a technical hands-on role, with responsibility to conduct capability development of data observability and monitoring tooling, as well as broader design, build, maintenance and configuration control tasks for data analytics. The Data Observability Engineer will lead the development and maturation of LNIC’s data observability and analytics frameworks and processes; which will directly contribute to LNIC’s ability to plan, execute and demonstrate digital integration test & evaluation, as well as risk reduction activities.
